PROGRAMS

CCMS Programs operate in conjunction with the local Department of Human Services. Clients are referred for program participation by DHS staff.

Parent Mentor:
The focus of this 6-month program is to help strengthen and reunify families by assigning a mentor who meets weekly with parents to teach skills in key areas recommended by the referring DHS worker.

Wraparound:
This voluntary program provides a Coordinator who facilitates the gathering and cooperation of a “family team,” which may include family/ community members and other professionals involved with the family. The team works together to help the family identify and meet goals.

Life Skills:
The goal of this 6-month program is to improve the social functioning of troubled youth and their families by pairing them with coordinators who act as role models/mentors.

Parenting Time Assessment and Visitation
The purpose of this program is to assist the St. Clair County Friend of Court in determining potential safety concerns within families and provides recommendations for visitation arrangements. Referrals are made through the Friend of Court or local judges.
